The WELCOME HOTEL RESIDENZSCHLOSS BAMBERG features 184 guestrooms and suites, all designed to meet the high demands of an international clientele.

Two in-house restaurants and a café on the terrace offer a large choice of national and international cuisine. After a tiring day there is nothing better than to relax with a little gentle piano music in our hotel bar "Residenz-Treff".

Anyone who still has enough energy left for something a little more strenuous can visit the hotel’s fitness-centre with sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and solarium.

The hotel also has 10 elegant function rooms accommodating up to 300 people.

A3 Würzburg/Nürnberg motorway. Exit the motorway at junction 79 (Pommersfelden) signposted to Bamberg. Continue on the B 505 to
the exit signposted Memmelsdorf / Scheßlitz. Turn left to Bamberg and follow the Memmelsdorfer Straße for approx. 5 km. After crossing the second large bridge turn left signposted "Dom" (Cathedral) and “Tiefgarage Residenzschloss” (Residenzschloss underground garage).The entrance to the hotel is approx. 600 m along this road on the left.

From north Coming from the north (e.g. Kassel or Schweinfurt)
Exit the A7 at the Schweinfurt-Werneck interchange. Continue along the A70 towards Bamberg. Exit the A70 at junction 15 (Hallstadt). Turn right towards Bamberg. At the 4th set of traffic lights (opposite VW dealer) turn right into Magazinstraße, after crossing the second large bridge turn left at the 5th set of traffic lights signposted “Dom” (cathedral) and “Tiefgarage Residenzschloss” (Residenzschloss underground garage). The entrance to the hotel is approx. 600 m on the left.

Follow the A9 to Kreuz Nürnberg (Nuremberg interchange). Continue along the A3 towards Würzburg. At the Fürth/Erlangen interchange, follow the A73 towards Bamberg. Leave the motorway at the exit signposted Memmelsdorf/Gartenstadt. Turn left towards Bamberg. Continue along the Memmelsdorfer Straße (approx. 5 km). After crossing the second large bridge turn left signposted “Dom” (cathedral) and “Tiefgarage Residenzschloss” (Residenzschloss underground garage).
